Hi kids, I have started a positive bog spot for any and all who wish to share their stories. I just think that their needs to be some common ground-especially when talking about disability..I wanted to make a positive place for any and all to tell their stories-without debate-hows and whys-cures and causes. I thought perhaps it may give people an opportunity to connect on some level. Two of my kids are on the autism spectrum-I would like to change how the world views them...popular media hasn't done a very good job. So far, I have gotten a few posts from people...I invited people from AoA to participate...so far I have heard nothing. It has only been a few days...so I will give them some time. What a great blog - I'll have to think long and hard to come up with anything as amusing as the first three posts, though.

Such a lovely idea, and indeed, a way to find some common-ground.
