They should be worried. Subjecting kids to some of these therapies should be illegal, imo.

You know, I don't understand why some of these folks aren't reported to CPS. I know it happens a lot in the parents of bipolars set because the kids get so out of control that sometimes parents are seen doing things that are mistaken as abusive to try to control the raging - but this seems much more like outright abuse to me.
We currently have the medical neglect chemo case going on here in MN, Orac even blogged about it - I think taking your kid down to Costa Rica for some experimental stem cell lumbar punch could be considered abuse.
